Call for Application: Pool of short-term Experts/Consultants – Validation of the Social Mentoring Programme

The project “Empowering Vulnerable Women through Social Mentoring” aims to enhance labour market inclusion by introducing social mentoring as a practical and institutionalized support tool for work integration, especially for the marginalized groups. As part of this effort, the project seeks to validate the Social Mentoring Programme through the National Qualification Authority (NQA) to ensure its formal recognition and alignment with national qualification standards.

To support this process, SHE-ERA is establishing a pool of short-term experts with relevant expertise in curriculum development, qualification frameworks, and training design to prepare and submit the validation application to the NQA.

The objective of this assignment is to prepare the complete documentation package required for the validation of the Social Mentoring Programme by the NQA. This includes aligning the training programme with national qualification standards, preparing necessary technical and pedagogical documents, and supporting the submission for review process with the NQA.

The National Qualifications Authority (NQA) in Kosovo is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the National Qualifications Framework (NQF). To introduce social mentoring as a recognized and certified training program, the NQA would typically follow a structured process.

Below are the general procedures involved:

• Development of occupational standards

• Verification process of occupational standards

• Development of qualifications

• Validation of qualifications

• Accreditation of the provider to offer the validated qualification.
