We are excited to announce the launch of the first Informative Training Day for the managerial staff of Social Work Centers in Gjakova, part of the project “Empowerment of Vulnerable Women through Social Mentoring”.
During the first training day, participants were introduced to:
– The concept and principles of Social Mentoring
– The role and ethics of Social Mentors
– The Mentoring Process and the importance of private sector involvement in creating employment opportunities
Funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and supported by GIZ, this project aims to empower vulnerable women in Kosovo through mentoring, skills development, and stronger partnerships with public institutions and the private sector.
Currently, we are strengthening cooperation with Social Work Centers and the Employment Agency, and moving forward with the institutionalization of Social Mentoring within the National Qualifications Framework.
Stay tuned for updates as we continue to build pathways for inclusion, dignity, and employment opportunities for vulnerable women across Kosovo.
