Justina Pula is awarded the “Mbretëresha Teuta” prize
The Club of Albanian Women of Croatia, organized the international cultural event “ Ditët e Mbretëreshës Teuta” in Zagreb, Croatia, under the patronage of the Mayor of the City of Zagreb. During this manifestation, the prize “Mbretëresha Teuta” was solemnly given to the academic from Kosovo, Mrs. Justina Shiroka Pula.
Guests included representatives from institutions of Croatia and the states of the region. Mrs. Shenide Bilalli, director of the Albanian Women of Croatia program, presented the prize to Mrs. Shiroka Pula for the successful integration of Albanian Women in society and politics. Mrs. Pula stated that she was particularly honored to receive the prize from the Albanian Women of Diaspora in Croatia, who are successful beyond our borders even though the path to success is not easy. Mrs. Shiroka Pula has held positions such as Minister, Deputy in the Assembly of Republic of Kosovo during the period 2009-2014, and after her mandate she returned to being a university professor, truly committed to her students. Mrs. Shiroka Pula is a member of the board of Women’s Business Association SHE-ERA. Other successful women awarded with the “Mbretëresha Teutë” prize are: Nekibe Kelmendi, Flora Brovina, Sanije Gashi dhe Flora Masurica-Durmishi.
